I really enjoyed Zooming with the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild yesterday! I participated in Mary Hogan’s (http://marymhogan.com/index.php) workshop, Siddi-Style Quiltmaking–it was fabulous. She had us begin with cotton quilt fabrics and an 18X22″ piece of fabric as a basis along with scraps for the top. Then the layer in between top and bottom is another piece of scrap fabric or muslin. Simple and fun to stitch!
I am an artist and teacher working with fiber, fabric, and mixed media collage. I love providing art instruction for all ages. I also teach Zentangle, a special, meditative drawing technique that focuses the mind and releases creativity. My Certified Zentangle Teacher training (2012) was made possible by a Chris Clark Fellowship award from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. My mission is to guide others to an artFULL path.
