I participated in a Maria Shell (https://talesofastitcher.com/ )online workshop last month through the Greater Ann Arbor Quilt Guild (https://www.gaaqg.com/). It focused on strips and stripes to create compositions. I completed constructing my study, 30X50″, although it is not backed and completed. The process is interesting, constantly experimenting and getting the most activity possible with color combinations. A wonderful class!!

I am an artist and teacher working with fiber, fabric, and mixed media collage. I love providing art instruction for all ages. I also teach Zentangle, a special, meditative drawing technique that focuses the mind and releases creativity. My Certified Zentangle Teacher training (2012) was made possible by a Chris Clark Fellowship award from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. My mission is to guide others to an artFULL path.
