I am excited to be one of twenty artists participating in this summer’s ARTpath, sponsored by Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center (https://lansingartgallery.org/2020-artpath-call-to-artists/). Three miles of Lansing’s River Trail will host outdoor art installations June-August. My installation is “Chain of Compassion,” a garland of hearts crocheted with recycled plastic bags and colorful yarns. My installation is next to the Oakland Street bridge–the parking lot is directly across from “O’Leary Paint.” Installation is happening May 29-31–a truly exciting event for the River Trail!

I am an artist and teacher working with fiber, fabric, and mixed media collage. I love providing art instruction for all ages. I also teach Zentangle, a special, meditative drawing technique that focuses the mind and releases creativity. My Certified Zentangle Teacher training (2012) was made possible by a Chris Clark Fellowship award from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. My mission is to guide others to an artFULL path.
