I was lucky to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota, last week and loved it! Lots and lots of fabulous and fascinating art—and the friendliest bus drivers I’ve ever met! I was able to visit the Textile Center, Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Central Library, Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Meet Minneapolis Visitor Center and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Oh….and I attended an excellent library conference, LOEX 2019, Thursday-Saturday! The presentations and camaraderie were SUPERB! So many librarians shared their wonderful ideas and work with students, faculty, patrons, and staff. An amazing experience all around!!
Experience “Minnesota Nice”!

I am an artist and teacher working with fiber, fabric, and mixed media collage. I love providing art instruction for all ages. I also teach Zentangle, a special, meditative drawing technique that focuses the mind and releases creativity. My Certified Zentangle Teacher training (2012) was made possible by a Chris Clark Fellowship award from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. My mission is to guide others to an artFULL path. I’ve been to the Center for Book Arts and the Walker and agree that Minneapolis is a great place.
