My friend Barb Shipman and I hosted a productive afternoon at the Delta Township District Library on the 22nd! Several women joined us to volunteer and create 300 bags to donated to “Helping Women Period.” These cosmetic bags are distributed in the Lansing area loaded with sanitary napkins or tampons for low income or homeless women. Co-Director Amy Stephenson joined us for the fun and spoke briefly to the group about how HWP got started. THANKS TO ALL who participated!!

I am an artist and teacher working with fiber, fabric, and mixed media collage. I love providing art instruction for all ages. I also teach Zentangle, a special, meditative drawing technique that focuses the mind and releases creativity. My Certified Zentangle Teacher training (2012) was made possible by a Chris Clark Fellowship award from the Arts Council of Greater Lansing. My mission is to guide others to an artFULL path.
